The Right Step Baton Rouge Location
The Right Step of Baton Rouge is Louisiana's premiere center for the treatment of addiction and alcoholism. At The Right Step of Baton Rouge, our team focuses on the physical and emotional stabilization. We provide detoxification treatment, identify core issues, introduce 12-Step recovery, and customize a curriculum based on our assessment of each person's medical, chemical and psychiatric needs. During the Family program, our staff will make recommendations for appropriate continuing care.
Our treatment is based on the principles of 12-Step, and we use our staff and alumni as role models for support during the process. Our primary treatment program utilizes a team of psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, addictionologists, social workers, and licensed addiction professionals to tailor a life of recovery for our clients.
The Right Step of Baton Rouge has established a network with a community so rich in recovery that it offers more than three hundred and fifty (350) 12-Step meetings per week. We teach our clients to make positive changes in their lives, show them how to live without drugs and alcohol, and connect them with recovering people in our community. It is our mission to allow our clients to discover that a life of recovery is worth living.
We offer Residential Inpatient Treatment (for men only), Intensive Outpatient Care, and Aftercare Services.
The Right Step Houma Location
Our Houma location offers Intensive Outpatient Program and Aftercare Services for adults. The Right Step's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is perfect for people who are ready to return to work, school or other responsibilities or do not require a higher level of care. Clients spend up to 10 hours each week (at least 3 days a week) in a structured, supportive setting led by licensed professionals. The intensive outpatient program uses 12-Step and proven clinical treatment methods to help you make positive changes in your life. You will participate in the following activities:
- Group counseling
- Individual counseling
- Groups for men and women
- Family group
- Spirituality awareness
- Relapse prevention
- 12-Step meetings (off-site)
- Education classes
