Addiction Recovery
Participation in Session Nine of the Outpatient Program at The Right Step will include group discussions where you will have been learning about the Roadmap for Addiction Recovery. Contact The Right Step to discuss your addiction disease and the best program for helping you to progress along the path toward positive change in your life.
At this point in your addiction treatment you will be nearing the end of Session Nine’s discussions to assist you with understanding the many aspects, awarenesses and behavior modifications involved in recovering from a drug addiction or alcohol addiction.
Through the use of written and verbal exercises, as well as visual aids, supportive licensed instructors will guide you through this process of addiction recovery and help you to learn more about the lifestyle balance required in order to sustain ongoing abstinence and sobriety.
You will learn that every individual must find the optimal balance that works for him or her. The balance in life that you will be encouraged to reflect on in your group addiction treatment sessions includes the balance between work, sleep, leisure, relationships and recovery activities.
Upon completion of Session Nine, you will be provided the opportunity to learn a great deal about STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) as you continue your drug and alcohol addiction treatment at The Right Step.
