Addictive
Behaviors-Relapse Treatment – Outpatient Program
Treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction provided by The Right Step includes the Outpatient Program. These eight weeks of recovery treatment involve a series of informative Sessions wherein you will have the opportunity to increase your education, understanding and ability to proceed along the path toward positive change.
During Session Six, you will have been helped to understand that there are 11 specific parts involved in the addiction relapse process. At this point, you will be learning more about the ninth point of relapse, wherein addicts return to people, places and things they were involved in or with during active addiction.
These may include old friends, prior hangouts and the formerly habitual addictive behaviors. Various forms of addictive thinking incur this re-visiting of former life activities, places and people including the belief that drinking alcohol and using drugs will not happen again or that these behaviors will aid in achieving much needed relaxation.
