Many who have entered into recovery and remained sober for a period of time have begun to experience the influence of the addicted brain, where the thought of using drugs and alcohol may have seemed to begin to make sense again.
Threats to Addiction Recovery during the Wall Phase
However, you will find that things can be kept in check if addiction treatment contact is continued. As by this point, you will have learned about the process in addiction recovery call “The Wall” you will also learn that even though feelings of apathy or depression may have arisen, treatment termination is a threat during the Wall.
