There are many aspects involved in occupations that may become potential sources of stress. These include the obtaining of risky jobs that are against family interests, working for low wages and job insecurity.
At times the lack of praise or attention from an employer may create a sense of insecurity that poses a stress threat. Other times stresses in occupation involve receiving contradictory directions from higher authorities, which create confusion on the job.
