As you progress into Session Eight of your outpatient addiction treatment, you will learn that there are eight basic areas of stress.

These eight areas of stress are predisposition, familial stress, occupation, situations, somatic, psychological, response, and stress reduction.

The help for alcoholism and drug abuse that you will receive at The Right Step will include group addiction treatment discussions and exercises with the help of visual aids as well.  Your opportunity for reflection upon your addiction disease will be focusing on the many aspects of stress, including the effects of stress and dealing with stress now and in the future as you attempt long-term recovery from addiction.
