As you progress in this portion of your addiction treatment program, you will learn more about the ways that defensive mechanisms are a part of your personality and how they come to be a part of your ego.
We will also be covering the develop of defenses in this group addiction treatment including external defenses against parents, teachers and so on as well as internalization, which is when we start up our own defense mechanisms.
Additionally, you will be discovering more information regarding the unconscious and conscious aspects of learning defense mechanisms as you continue to move forward in the outpatient addiction treatment program provided at The Right Step.
