PROMETA. Targeting the Biology of Addiction

For Alcohol, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine addicts, the Prometa treatment protocol is a new promising adjunct to traditional psychosocial treatment that has shown remarkable success in minimizing the physical symptoms of dependence, such as cravings, withdrawal, and anxiety.

Prometa uses prescription medications and nutritional supplements to combat physiological cravings in an effort to reduce or eliminate instances of relapse.

The Prometa treatment is generally performed in an outpatient setting and typically requires just three short visits for the initial treatment. Treatment is conducted in a private suite at The Right Step's Houston Central campus.
