Residential Inpatient. Building a strong foundation for recovery.
Our 30-day residential inpatient program takes place in comfortable community settings, which assists each individual to make positive changes in their life, increasing their abilities to live drug and alcohol free. Participants will connect with other recovering people who are part of the community. The Right Step's multidisciplinary treatment team uses the Structured Program Track, based on 12-Step recovery principles, proven medical and evidence based models. Participants are involved in the following activities:
Self pay clients receive our medical management service, which includes personalized attention from our onsite physician, including a thorough wellness history and physical, drug screen(s), weekly physician visits, and medication monitoring.
A typical day at The Right Step begins with meditation time followed by a leisurely breakfast, which has been designed by our nutritionist and prepared by our chefs. Mid-morning activities include groups with counselors, life skills trainings and guest speakers, followed by a rejuvenating lunch. Afternoon activities continue with lectures, presented by counselors, doctors, nurses and outside professionals, and gender specific groups led by the counseling staff. Sober outings to local area museums, parks, softball, volleyball and swimming (at some locations) are the perfect ending to the afternoon. Once dinner has been finished residents attend either an on-site or off-site 12-Step meeting. They are encouraged to meet others in sobriety and begin networking with sober peers who have been able to maintain sobriety over the years. Once the meeting is over they return to campus for some free time and retire for the day.
