We can help. 844-877-1781

You can reclaim your life from addiction. We can help. Our Texas inpatient rehab programs offer comfortable, community settings where we provide personalized support to help you live a healthy, fulfilling life without drugs and alcohol. In home-like surroundings, you’ll explore underlying reasons for your addiction. We’ll teach you new skills to avoid triggers and cope with life’s stressors.

The Right Step residential programs provide a multidisciplinary, structured approach based on 12-step recovery principles and medical and evidence-based models. Our inpatient drug rehab programs include:

Comprehensive Assessments

We make sure we’re addressing all of the issues that are keeping you from living the life you want. Our addiction specialists will assess your situation to determine if you have underlying mental health disorders or other conditions. Our assessments guide your treatment plan so you’re getting treatment that’s comprehensive and relevant.

Individual Therapy

Meeting one-on-one with a trained therapist helps you address emotional pain that’s contributing to substance abuse. You’ll explore difficulties from your past that are getting in the way of your present well-being. You’ll identify triggers to substance abuse and learn healthier ways of coping with them. Individual therapy is also a safe space to talk about issues you’re not ready to bring to group yet. You can also use it to process something that came up in group you’d like to give more focus.

Group Counseling

You’ll take part in several small groups everyday. Many of our groups are gender-separate, which can help you feel safer being open. You’ll gain new insight into yourself and your issues through interactions with peers. A trained group leader will guide you through topics relevant to you and your peers in treatment. In group therapy you’ll:

  • Improve interpersonal skills
  • Practice open, honest sharing
  • Gain new solutions to problems
  • Work on issues like shame and isolation
  • Build relapse prevention skills and confidence

Family Involvement

Loved ones are impacted by addiction as well. We provide family therapy as appropriate. Some of our locations offer family groups where loved ones can connect with others going through similar situations. The more family is involved in treatment, the better they’re able to support you in recovery.

Positive Recovery®

Our Chief Medical Officer developed a scientifically based approach to treatment known as Positive Recovery. This  approach encourages a recovery journey that is empowering and joyful. You’ll learn to focus on “what’s right” rather than “what’s wrong.” Positive Recovery uses proven tools to help you tackle triggers, build resilience and live a life of gratitude.  Learn more.

Relapse Prevention

It’s important to have alternative ways to deal with triggers that lead to drug and alcohol use. We teach you how to thrive in recovery. You’ll learn about healthy self-care and practices that will help you stay strong in sobriety in the face of stressors. We help you build a toolbox of relapse prevention skills you can draw upon for a lifetime.

Traditional and Alternative Therapies

We offer traditional therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy as well as alternative approaches. In addition to individual and group therapy you may take part in:

  • Art and music activities
  • Fitness
  • Yoga and meditation
  • Shame-resilience groups
  • Recreational activities including basketball, softball and group outings
  • Spirituality awareness

* Therapies are based on clinical need and length of stay.

Aftercare Planning

Our connection with you doesn’t end after you leave treatment. We help you plan for long-term recovery with continuing care options that include:

  • Two years of complimentary aftercare groups
  • Optional one-year continuing care plan
