The Right Step Woodlands, located at 25319 I-45 North Suite 102 Spring , TX 77380, offers intensive outpatient care for those that are struggling with addiction. Our outpatient program at The Right Step Woodlands is designed for those that are ready to make a change, but simply cannot dedicate thirty or more days to an “in house” residential treatment program. The outpatient program is designed for people that are unable to change their work, school, or various daily schedules, but need to make a commitment to recovery. Over the course of 8 weeks, participants spend 10 hours each week (at least three days per week) in a supervised, supportive setting. By combining classroom instruction with group discussions and private counseling the program enables clients to address the core issues surrounding their alcohol abuse or drug dependency while they develop the skills necessary to live a life of sobriety. Activities also include sessions on spiritual awareness, relapse prevention, 12-Step meetings and family group meetings. Our team of addiction recovery specialist will work with you every step of the way to help you gain a new perspective on life and make your recovery as great an experience as possible.

The Woodlands location has 2 counselors: David Hanna, LCDC and Rene Garcia, LCDC-Intern. David is a licensed chemical dependency counselor. He has a master's degree in humanities with a focus in philosophy and is about to complete a second master's degree in psychology with a focus on family therapy. In addition to his work in chemical dependency he is completing an internship with a local non-profit, counseling individuals and families in the community. David recognizes the difficulties his clients and their families are facing. He makes himself available to them to lend assistance in overcoming their struggles. Clients quickly recognize that David is in this profession because he genuinely cares about each and every client and he works as hard as they do to help them meet their recovery goals. He has been associated with The Right Step for nearly 4 years.
Rene is the newest addition to the Woodlands team. He is a counselor intern, has a B.S. in psychology and is currently working on a Master's degree in psychology with a focus in marriage and family therapy. He has a calming, caring, and empathetic manner that will allow you to feel right home.
