Our History

The Right Step started in 1990 as an extended care facility for men. It continued as a single-site operation until 1994 when George Joseph, CEO, joined the operation. He brought a combination of effective clinical skills and a fresh approach to the delivery of quality care. Most importantly, George brought his unmatched vision and dedication to recovery. With George at the helm, supported by a skilled clinical and administrative team, his vision took form. Today, The Right Step is the largest private chemical dependency treatment provider in the Southwest.
